Tawny Nelson is a single mother of 4 daughters，who，you can imagine，was having a tough time financially after her ex（前夫） left her and the girls.Even though she devoted herself to raising her four children，feeding four children and herself on a waitress's wages turned out to be hard.Sometimes they didn't have enough food to eat.They had to wear thin clothes in winter.She didn't always go to doctors when she was sick.The truck she was driving had a few issues- -a bad engine，a bad battery，a tire with a slow leak，and other problems.
One day Tawny and her children went to a grocery store for some bargains，but unfortunately were trapped in the grocery store parking lot，in a rainstorm，and in a truck that wouldn't start because the battery had died.Tawny no longer had a cell phone and didn't have any family in the area she could call.
She lifted the hood （引擎蓋） on the truck and started asking people if they could give her truck a jump.It was a pretty simple request.Many people have jump started more vehicles than they can count.
But Tawny asked more than twenty people in the course of two hours for a jump.They all ignored her.Not even a no.Just acted like she didn't exist.
She was so sad."What is wrong with people？" she wondered， "Why wouldn't someone help this poor young mother and her children？" Having 4 daughters herself，she couldn't imagine them needing help and no one taking a few minutes out of their busy day to help them.
Her 5 year old was melting down，her newborn screaming，her two year old crying she was hungry，and her oldest desperately trying to help.
Tawny was completely desperate and threw herself into the truck seat，feeling like the worst Mom ever.

Jenny sat there，speechless and numb with shock？she remembered Mother's familiar face and weathered hands. "Why did I not think of that？A bowl of noodles from a stranger made me feel indebted，but I have never thanked my mum for what she has done for me."
On the way home，Jenny made up her mind to make an apology to her mother for her rudeness as soon as she arrived home.
