I am Juliane Koepcke.I am a German born in Lima，Peru （秘魯），in 1954.On Christmas Eve 1971，I flew on LANSA Flight 508.The plane was struck by lightning （閃電）.The plane began to break down in midair，and I found myself still on my seat - two miles above the Peruvian rain forest.
    When I woke up from pain，I found myself in a tall tree.I was weak and hurt and my collarbone （鎖骨） was broken.I climbed down and found I was the only one who was alive of the flight.Some candy was my only food，but luckily I found a small stream （小溪）.I walked in it to wash my body and make it in better condition.
    The insects （昆蟲） in the forest stopped eating me because I was still alive，but my arm was infected （感染） with many maggots （蛆蟲）.
    I crawled （爬行） around all over the place and called out，but I couldn't hear any respond （回應(yīng)）.Later I remembered what my father had once told me：If you get lost in the jungle and find a stream （小溪）or a river，you should follow it.A small stream will flow （流） into a bigger one and then into a bigger river，and finally you'll find people and run into help.
    I was hungry，but what should I eat？My father's words reminded me of this.He had told me that when one was in trouble in the jungle and didn't know what to eat，he might watch what monkeys eat.Such food was also good for humans to eat.
    My father also told me to take a stick long enough to stir （攪拌；撥拉） the grass or bushes （灌木） in front of me while making my way forward in the jungle，so that some dangerous animals like snakes would not hurt me.
    I just followed all my father's words.After nine days，some workers found me，taking me to an area where more people lived and there I was sent to a hospital by air.
